Beginning TNT - I'm scared!!!
Hi everyone,
I am in my 5th week of the NROLW and while I have seen some results in the muscle growth category, I wanted to take it a step further. I am 5'4, 134lbs. I don't really care about how much I weigh as much as I do body fat % and feeling like a goddess. That being said, i have picked up the TNT and today was the forst day of Plan A. I am a little nervous because I am having to basically indoctronate myself to believe that sour cream is good for me and I can eat cheese a couple times a day. But, I am going to be faithful and really give it a shot. Here are my eats for today. Am I getting to much protien? I thought I read in here somewhere that you shouldn't have more protein than you weight. Or, maybe that's a forum myth I made up.
Eats:
Whey protein 20 grams pr/14 grams carb/Almond milkBF weight training
Whey protein 20 grams pr/14 grams carb/Almond milk After wt
2 egg whites
2 whole eggs
1 slice cheddar cheese
mushrooms
1 slice turkey meat
Big salad for lunch w/
cheddar cheese
guacamole
grilled chicken
olives
ranch dressing
celery
2 tablespoons of almond butter
for dinner:
salmon
broccoli w/ butter
Does this look okay??

I think that actually looks pretty good. What percentage of calories from protein are you getting? I believe, and I'm going off a pretty bad memory here, that it's actually 1.5 grams of protein per lb of bodyweight before it starts to have a negative effect.

I won't lie: the first week is hell if you jump right in, but stick with it. After the first week, you won't feel like death warmed over. After the second week, you'll start to feel semi-normal. After the third week, life is grand, and when you return to carbs, you'll realize they really make you feel worse than going without them

thanks guys. i feel like shit, i gotta be honest here. i also feel kind of feel like a blow fish...an unhappy one. I haven't been hungry at all since i had some celery and almond butter around 6. This is different from eating the nrolw way. I was starving every couple of hours. I am guessing it's because I ate so much fat and it is filling me up and keeping me full for longer. i hope I am making the right decision by trying the tnt. i think i am, but we'll see. i guess everybody is diff and everyone will have diff results.

TNT is a great eating plan and it does work. I am down 23 lbs since I started it in December, and more importantly I'm down 4.25" in my waist measurement, or should that be waste.
The fat does keep you from getting hungry and eating a bit more of it the first week helps the transition.

Yeh,I started out right where your at mid Jan. Weighed 134 at 5'4". I was already lower carb when starting so did not see anything dramatic at first, which you probably won't either cause you don't have that much to lose! Don't get discouraged! I have leaned out considerably and am weighing 129 as of yesterday! Abs are getting leaner by the day, clothes looser, no binges/cravings, don't obssess about food qanymore, and no more bloated stomach! Now its flat all day! I've come to the conclusion that I must have had some food sensitivities! All better now! Don't be scared! I love this program, oh yeh and my lifts keep improving too!

Been on TNT since January 7 and have lost 18 pounds of scale weight. That's a bit over a pound a week, on average. Major changes in my body and the way my clothes fit and my measurements. It works for me!

Hip hip Hurrah! Love hearing all of this. I have to say that today I have felt so delightfully full. I went shopping and got a wonderful mixture of meats, veggies, raw cheese and nuts!! Thanks so much for the support and success stories
