Smile Clean Eating Magazine - Anyone else read it?

I was going away for the weekend and when I do, I always buy some magazines for the trip. I ended up picking up Clean Eating and Healthy Cooking from Barnes & Noble and really like what I see.

Clean Eating is apparently new. It is only published 4 times a year. The premiere issue came out in January. I got the Spring issue.

There are a ton of really good recipes. Some even use protein powder (chocolate pancake recipe on their site). Two really nice features that I liked the most was the "One Grocery Bag, Five Delicious Dinners" where they post 5 recipes for the week for around $60. This was to feed a family of 4 and included the recipe list. The other feature I really liked was the "30-Day Spring Menu". It features shopping lists for each week and included menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and 2 snacks. All the macros for the day were listed also.....Most days ranged 1450-1800cals w/ 90-122g of protein. Not perfect, much higher protein than most other magazine recipes......and, of course, you could always add portions to make the calories or protein higher.

I was just really impressed with this magazine and thought I'd share. Anyone else read it, yet?

ETA: I forgot to put the link if you want to check out some of the recipes they have posted.

Welcome to Clean Eating Magazine!

I just subscribed to it. I really enjoyed the Spring issue. Eating Well is also another good magazine.

I agree about Eating Well. I do have a subscription to that one, as well.

Have you all seen Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Diet Cookbook? If you like those two mags, you'll like this cookbook, I suspect.
