I was just reading some articles and blogs on colon cleansers... (namely Bowtrol) after hearing an ad on the radio, and it seems many people swears by it as a means of increasing energy, losing weight, and trimming the waist, as well as getting rid of waste and toxins from your intestinal tract.
Has anyone on this board tried colon cleansing? Did it have an impact on your training? Were you more energized as a result of taking it? Did you lose weight? Did it help you lose that gut (if you had one)?
Are colon cleansers only necessary for the unfit/overweight/constipated population? Would it be effective for active, fit individuals as well?
