Default TNT - How low is low?

Hey all,

I'm doing the TNT diet at the moment (Plan A) and I have a question or 2:

How low is low carb? Should I keep my carb intake below a certain level? What is optimal? Also, should I be in ketosis? The book dosent' actually say so, but is it worth getting some ketosis testing stips and using them every day?

Finally, years ago I watched the Atkins diet video and I recall Dr Atkins saying that it was impossible to "lay down" fat while your are in ketosis - is this true?

Thanks in advance as always.

You don't need to measure or track your carbs. Just eat the foods on the list. There's no "optimal" level here.

You may be in ketosis at times, but it's not important if you are or aren't. Save your money.

I don't know. But, if you're eating in a deficit, you shouldn't be adding body fat, anyway.

Hi Lost Dog,

Thanks for the response - you're a fountain of knowledge!

I guess the underlying reason for asking the questions is because for the last 2 weeks i have lost quite a bit of weight, but my BF% has not moved at all and I'm begining to a)obsess and b)measure everything!

You're obsessing because for a very short time in the grand scheme of life, your imprecise measuring instrument using a somewhat sketchy imperfect formula for calculation isn't overcoming the margin of error to show you results?
