Steph,

Alan Aragon has put together the most information packed and scientific journals are referenced for nearly every dam word. If your interested its different to every other nutrition book you'll have, text books included.

The Book - AlanAragon.com

(I by no means am affiliated with Alan, I'm just a budding health professional that finally found a nutrition book that is actually scientific based and referenced.)

I've got to second this. Best book I've purchased in a very long time.

I'd say I defintely repsect your opinion, but I want to know why I'm eating too much protein. Are there any scientific reasons why it's not okay? Also, I think that the area of weightloss and nutrition allow for some opinion. While the general guidelines are probably the same for most people, there are other people who just don't fit the mold. Some people just need more protein than others. For instance, my dad eats so much protein but that's all he's ever hungry for, so we always say that he must need that much. There is a difference, however, between wanting something and needing something. I think that we should all try to listen to our bodies a little more. The body is an amazing thing and it will tell you what it needs. That's my response. Take care!

Josh, thanks for the advice about the book. I'm excited to take a look at it. It will be nice to read something that has some scientific back-up. Thanks!
