Default Glucosamine, Chondroitin and MSM.

I'm still recovering from my injury in my back and a new small injury in my foot from playing Soccer a few weeks ago. All these injury's around the time that I really should be hitting it hard in the gym and at the kitchen are really annoying me.

But during all the information I was reading regarding the recovery of such injury's, I have read about these few supplements. I also noticed that they are on sale at my favorite vitamin place Puritan's!

Glucosamine Chondroitin MSM: GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN MSM JOINT SOOTHERŪ Tablets : Puritan's Pride

Would this one in particular be a good choice for me? Maybe I one with higher mg's? Or maybe I don't need them at all!?

Thanks, bunches.

Char -

I don't know the exact amount, but a friend of mine had horrible knee pain after years of riding horses. She lived with it - but when one of her horses started hurting she called the vet right away. Go figure.

Anyway - the vet told her to give the horse glucosimine (sp?). She figured if it worked for the horse, why not for her? That was about 4 years ago, and now she takes her daily supplement and is pain free. If it can't hurt and may help - go for it.

I personally take Glucosamine HCl with MSN, which I get in large quantities at Costco. I can say that I believe it has helped with my joints somewhat. I also started taking about 8-10 Fishoil caps a day at the same time.....so it may be a combination of both?

I have some joint issues with my right elbow from a broken arm when I was very young, and also my right Patella from a dirtbike accident a few years ago.
Dr. say that both show early signs of arthritis? and I'm only 22. Anyway, after takining both regularly for about 1.5 years....I can tell a big difference in how both joints feel.

My advice is if $ isn't a huge deal, it's worth taking......also fishoil caps if you aren't already.
