Default carbs after lifting

I finally understand why you should take protein and carbs after lifting. I already take whey protein after lifting, but what do I drink to get the fast absorbing carbs? I thought gatorade would be good but it has high fructose corn syrup in it.

Powerade has HFCS, but Gatorade didn't the last time I looked.

Gatorade powder is cheaper and you can shake it in the same bottle as the whey.

How about a bowl of raisin bran?

I am on tnt Plan A, but when I change plans, I was hoping to have my bowl of cereal back. I workout first thing in the morning.
