Default Pre-game snack ideas

With the pre-season now underway I'm faced with the issue of getting the right stuff in my body to keep me going for games. So, looking for ideas of what to do for pre-game nutrition. I usually have lunch sometime between 10:30 and 11:30 and games are at 4, so I'm looking to find a reliable snack to eat at around 2:45 after dismissal.

I'm still looking to drop a few more pounds because playing at 200+ is getting old. As I've dropped some pounds, I've gotten faster, so I'd like to keep up the trend. Got like 10 days before the season opener so hopefully I can stay under 200 and get down a pound or two more. Just trying to be careful to keep enough calories so nothing gets taken away from my game.

Just looking for some ideas for that pre-game snack and any other tips you guys might think of regarding my diet to make sure I'm good to go for each game.

Sounds like you should eat a meal, a fairly large one at that when you get out of class.

i bring alot of food to school everyday, chicken, steak, trail mix, tubs of cottage cheese (people think im weird, its ok). Id have a good sized meal not skimping on any macro.

What about making something like grilled chicken and pasta marinara? It would give you some protein and ample carbs for fuel. You can precook it and take it to where ever you need to and eat it.
