Default Fitday question

Hi All,

I've been using fitday.com to track my food consumption recentlyand I find it a great tool but 2 things bug me and I can't find an answer to them.

Firstly I live in New Zealand which has a massive time difference with the US, so my dates are always wrong - is there anywhere where you can tell it what time zone to use?

Secondly, not being from the US I'm not familier with all the foods and abrevations - what does NFS mean? As in "Butter, NFS" as listed in the foods?

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

Most people from the US aren't familiar with that abbreviation either. It stands for "not further specified" and is a term used in the USDA food database from which Fitday gets its data.

I don't know if you can change the timezone on the website - it's probably tied to its server's time - but if you click the little << at the top, you can go back to yesterday.

Fitday PC, since it's a downloadable application on your computer, should run off your computer's clock. I find Fitday PC faster and easier to use, and consider it among the best $20 I ever spent.
