Default Atkins Bars on TNT Plan A

I am currently on Plan A of the TNT Diet. I was checking out the Atkin's Advantage Protein Bars. They say they have 2g Net carbs. How does their whole system of 'Net Carbs' work into TNT? Can I eat those as a meal on TNT Plan A? The stats on the package say 22g Carbs, 10g Fiber, 1g Sugar, 0g Sugar Alcohol. However it says net 2g Carb Count.

From the Atkins bar I have sitting on my desk.

"The Net Atkins Count, the only count based on the most advanced clinical testing of glycemic impact, shows on average that just 3g of carbs in this product impact blood sugar."

This bar has 18g carb, 4g fiber, 0 sugar, 0 sugar alcohol. I believe that the fiber is always subtracted from the carbs, then they do something else as well to get the Net carbs.

On a low carb diet though, I think carbs are carbs. But I've not done TNT. I've only eaten the Atkins bars. So I'm only half-qualified to reply to this post.

I have been on TNT for 12 week. I am pretty sure you should avoid the bars. Eat SlimJims or pepperoni sticks or string cheese or beef jerky as quick and easy snacks instead.

TNT centers around whole foods, not processed and manufactured bars. According to AFI's info, that bar would have 14 grams of starch. Eating one won't cause huge problems, but I think there are better choices for daily snacks.

If you want something sweet, you can make a whey protein shake.

Try cottage cheese with vanilla extract and cinnamon for a sweet snack

Other sweet snacks include the peanut butter cookies JP posted here and various whipped cream based recipes posted here at the mens health forums and elsewhere.
