Default TNT plan A and dizziness

I'm starting my 6th week today and I like the results so far, but is it normal to forget to eat?

Sometimes I forget to eat and start to get dizzy and nasueous in the evening. Is it normal to let your energy get that low without stomach rumblings or any other warning?

I haven't been doing plan A as long as you but I have noticed that I never really want to eat (not that I don't want to eat just no particular urge to eat) and I never feel hungry. The other day I did get a little light headed and then realized that I hadn't really had enough to eat for the day. So I guess I share the fact that I don't have any hunger mechanism that kicks in before the low energy stuff anymore. I just make sure I eat at regular mealtimes and have some snacks so I get enough food. Other than the day I described every time I have eaten I have felt like I could wait to eat since about the 4-5 day mark.

This is all very new for me. I used to get hungry between meals and even if I wasn't hungry if food was available (like someone brought some treats to work or I was getting coffee at a coffee shop and noticed the food case) I would often eat it just because I wanted to eat. I expected the appetite control from TNT but I am surprised that it has helped with my cravings and urges to eat that are not hunger related.

Very typical response: both the lack of appetite as well as dizziness from not having eaten enough.
This is one of the reasons why it is truly recommended to TRACK CALORIES. Otherwise you might end not eating enough and in the end stalling your progress or even get ill, because the deficit was too large.
But yes, it's wonderful to not be hungry while eating .. most of the time you're feeling sharper too once you get used to subsisting on very low carb intakes.

One warning: ketones rely on liver metabolism. So don't start imbibing alcohol as if you were still living the normal 'carb vida'. You might be in for a nasty surprise = getting drunk really quickly as ketosis stops as soon as alcohol has to be detoxified in the liver.

yeah this has been happening to me too. i have started tracking calories on fitday. its weird bc with all the exercise and change in diet eating has become something i have to do not necessarily something i want to do anymore. its like i don't want to spend 50 bucks to fill my cars gas tank, i have too. you know?

but yeah i find that if i lose my balance/ get dizzy when i close my eyes. and for a while i was missing meals just bc i would forget to have them. plus with high protein you stay fuller longer so i never really feel like eating.

but i have lost 2-3 inches off my waste in the past month. so i guess its not all bad.

From the other thread in which someone complained of getting cold after eating, I learnt that the dizziness can also be a result from low blood pressure.
I've experienced the latter (dizziness) in the last few days, but not the former (feeling cold after a meal) and do know my blood pressure runs a tad low.

Apart from eating more, you can also solve this by using more salt, esp. sea salt or other salts that also contain magnesium & potassium apart from sodium.
