Eat whatever you usually eat for lunch or dinner. Or eat leftovers from the night before. Or have a protein shake with some veggies or nuts or both "on the side".

Those are good suggestions, but in all honesty, I found breakfast to be the toughest meal. There are suggestions like that, but for the most part I think breakfast will end up being the most bland or toughest to get used to. Just try different things and make notes of what you like and stick with it!

You can indeed eat exactly the same for breakfast as for lunch or dinner. It's just that most won't have that much time for it. Cold or reheated leftovers will be the most practical approach.
If anyone ever tries to take eggs away from me, he's going to need to pry them out of my cold & dead fingers
Loving them.. fried or scrambled (esp. w salmon or ham w mushrooms), poached (as in soup w veggies) boilt (only in a hurry) and most of all as an omelette w fruit & coconut.
Some people go low carb with the exception of breakfast, seems they can't live without oat porridge.

every morning my breakfast is the same. in the cafeteria at my job they have what they call a mexican omelette. its 2 eggs with peppers, tomatoes, cheese, ham, and onion wrapped in a tortilla. so at first i tried ordering it without the tortilla but the cook didnt understand (which i find funny bc the cook is a spanish speaker and the words no and tortilla are both spanish /shrug) so now i just eat the eggs and throw the tortilla away. and i feel guilty every morning bc its a waste of food but its a good breakfast.
before i discovered this omelette i would usually prepare breakfast the night before and re heat it in the morning. usually hard boiled eggs, or grilled chicken or both. i used to be a big cereal eater so it was hard at first but i prefer it now bc i don't get hungry as much between breakfast and lunch anymore.

I guess you can go with your normal eating in breakfast as it will be burned during the day, dinners have to be low carb n light. n another egg lover here.

When I was doing keto, breakfast was always the worst part of the day. Early on, I did the omelet/meat thing, but after experimenting with different foods, I found that my usual morning oatmeal was just fine since the carbs are fibrous and low-GI.

I drink a protein shake and eat a small SlimJim as I'm walking out the door in the morning because I'd rather sleep an extra 15 minutes than try to get a full meal down that early. Then I eat some tuna with mayo around 9am. Works for me.

Since when are oats fibrous carbs?
The last time I looked, oats were still a cereal. And cereals are firmly in the category of starchy carbs. Not all that low GI either, but low enough to be in the 'good' category. If one tries to adopt a Paleo diet, they would definitely NOT be part of the diet.
Yet, like I said.. breakfast tends to be the hardest meal of the day for lack of time as well as appetite. What works = always superior to something which is theoretically better.
As for me, oats are in the category of glutinous carbs, viz. food intolerance and am getting palpitations from them plus a number of other weird things. Hence oats = junkfood.

Sorry, brain cramp. My breakfasts are normally fibrous as I take a fiber supplement anyway. It's been a weeeeeeeeeeeird morning However, I wouldn't quite categorize oatmeal as a junk food, namely the least-processed kinds (rolled and steel-cut). The benefits far outweight the risks, though there are always exceptions (read: gastro-intestinal issues, though that could just add to the bouquet of the meal ).

Oats are junkfood for me Or would be if I loved porridge from oats.
Last time I ate them was by using oats as 'flour' for a carrot cake.
