Default New-to-me product: "Just Like Sugar"?

While at the store the other day, I spotted and bought "Just Like Sugar". I've not yet been able to tolerate any other artificial sweetener but have done just fine with this one so far.

The home page has a funky intro: justlikesugarinc.com but here's a direct link to the product info page: Product Information

Has anyone else tried it? Or have an opinion on it? I did a search here for it but no threads came up.

I've heard of it, but haven't tried it. I might, though. I think stevia tastes funky.

In googling reviews, it's nice to know that carob cake and hemp brownies taste just as good with this as with regular sugar! Whew!

When I first tasted "Just Like Sugar", I thought it tasted fairly like sugar but slightly less sweet. Now I'm tasting a bit of funk to it and the tiniest bit of aftertaste. Normal people (in which category I obviously don't fit) probably wouldn't notice a thing. Best of all, though, it's given me no nausea, stomachaches, headaches, or weird buzzy feelings. Being neither a chemist or an artificial sweetener guru (nor possessing a lick of sense), I've no idea why some things do that to me and some don't.

There's a page on the website to request a free sample - I did....no idea how long it'll take, but I'll give it a try!! Never heard of the stuff before!
