Question 5 WEEKS TNT PLAN A

I completed 5 weeks TNTplan A today, and I am sure due to Valentine's Day I will probably eat some carbs...I originally was going to do 4 weeks on A then switch plans (C or D). I lost about 17 lbs total and am now at my goal weight of 205. I stayed on plan A an extra week because 1/2 of week 4 I spent in bed with the flu. I wanted to get some work in the gym before rewarding myself with carbs...anyway whats going to happen if I eat some carbs to night? Will I swell up to 220? I have heard/read some interesting stuff, just wanting to know what to look forward to. In case you all are wondering I am 5'10 and as mentioned before I weigh 205. My waist has went from 36 to 33. I am pleased with the results and will stay on TNT indefinitely. I am curious as well if anyone eats "cheat" carbs when allowed or if they are clean?

Awesome results!

You'll be just fine. If you plan to stay on Plan A, just have your treats and go back tomorrow. You may see a bit of water weight added, but other than that, nothing. The water weight will be gone soon enough.

Look at the other plans, they all have days or times with carbs. You might lose fat slower, overall on those plans, but unless you are overeating, nothing special is happening that would put on fat.

And, it still takes about 3500 EXTRA calories to put on a lb of anything, including muscle and/or fat. Water not included, but that is temporary.

Thanks LD... I will continue to focus on fat loss but not as much as the last month. I am now starting back with BJJ+ Muay Thai and may require more carbs, we will see. I am now carb-phobic for the first time in 35 years and after 20+ years of training. I believe you indulge in cheat carbs from time to time any difference in your water weight?

One meal won't do too much to me. Whether it's my imagination or not, it seems that even a large carb meal after a serious weight workout does little to my weight. Who knows.

Now, if I do a day like one of the plans with a full day of carbs, I might add 7lbs of water. But, then two days later, it's gone again. So a full day of water weight is HUGE!

Tuesday night, I had carbs at dinner and didn't add any weight by morning. It was just one meal and maybe 100-150 calories of corn/cornmeal.

Well I have to say, I did notice a little bloat, friday morning...but had the best pump Ive had in a long time when I left the gym that afternoon, and was pretty much back to normal. Life does go on after carbs, afterall. Now time for a big juicy Ribeye(which tastes WAY better than a cupcake can ever taste).
