Milko's nutrition
For the last 6 years I have been eating a High Fat Low Carb diet. This month I started to log my food. I need this, because I don't have appetite. I have to know my calories.
I will post my nutrition reports. Many doctors think a man like me have to be dead Who wants kick in the a**
For the past 6 years I have eaten a total of between 3.5 and 4.5 lbs (pure) cholesterol.
Carbs 5% of calories. No rice, no corn, no maize, no bean, no flour, no potato, no honey, no sugar.
I am 32 years old. 90% of men of my age are fat and/or ill. Am I an alien?

Yes, pork skin with lard on it. It was a sporty pig with less fat. Heh.

Very interesting stuff!
Is there any rhyme or reason in the variation of your day to day calories? (i.e. Feb 13th- 2400, Feb 15th- 3600)
Do you eat more on training days/less on non? Or, do you just eat whatever you feel like as long as its not carbs?

Rob Faigin wrote the Natural Hormonal Enhancement book which advocates for a low carb, high fat diet although he does have carb 'refeeds' periodically.
Looking at the picture (yuck!) I presume that much of your diet comes from unprocessed foods so you probably aren't eating much 'alien' food.
Keep up the good work, why fix something if it isn't broken?

I don't plan my calories. My daily nutrition follows my way of life.

milko, have you gotten blood tests done recently? It'd be interesting to see from a real life example, if there is a positive/neutral/negative correlation with cholesterol and high fat diets. We always hear about how high fat raises cholesterol, but i'm guessing it's the opposite.

Only people who are 'addicted' to the taste of carbs need carb refeed.
Thanx for the good words!

I read somewhere that cholesterol and fat in the diet doesn't really have any affect on the levels within the body, unless you already have a high natural cholesterol level.
It may have been on this blog, but I am not sure:

According to the TNT diet book studies have shown that low carb high fat diets increase both HDL and LDL but increase HDL faster than LDL and result in more of the LDL particles being larger which is also better.

That's only if you are maintaining or losing fat, I believe.

Many people ask me to do a blood test. No! I do not give my blood to the doubters! (Alcoholiday, I don't mean you) They can always find a reason not to believe. OK, but it's you gene ... OK, but you train so much ... (really??!) ... OK, but you are still young ...
We (me and Galya) have many real life examples in our work.
