LENT
So what does everyone do during the season of LENT. I give up eating meat on Fridays and Ash Wed. What does everyone else do for making up for the protein source loss?? I was thinking about taking two scoops of my whey protein instead.

Cottage Cheese, yogurt, kefir, string cheese, eggs, fish, etc.
The eggs and fish are not considered meat?

I can't see that no meat on a few Fridays is going to be a big deal protein wise.
If you are vegan on Fridays, that might be different - but still, it's just a few Fridays - no big deal in the long term view of things. Decades ago many people practiced every Friday as meatless year-round and people still worked on farms and in construction and did every kind of heavy lifting without a second thought. Plus - if you are "giving something up" and then "making up for it" - what is the point really (but that's just me).

for this purpose, what do you consider "meat" ? fish, dairy, eggs? or just land animals flesh?

Depends on what it means to you.
This was a while back, and things have changed, since this was written.

Pope St. Gregory (d. 604), writing to St. Augustine of Canterbury, issued the following rule: "We abstain from flesh, meat, and from all things that come from flesh, as milk, cheese and eggs."

If you follow that, then you're pretty much going vegan for the day. it's really not that bad, or bad for you. Nothing bad will happen in one day. Eat plenty of nuts and seeds, beans, rice, grains, etc.
If you want to go with more modern/traditional, fish is okay, I think. Take a tuna sandwich or have sardines and breath mint.

HAHA funny you bring this up I actually bought hardboiled eggs with me to have while I was studying. Let me tell you I even smelled how bad it was.
But any way yea I am not that strict but I just say that I can not have land meat such as turkey, steak etc. I allow myself to eat fish though.

Boca burgers work, a little more protien added to my shakes, eggs, fish.
Of more concern to me is what to do when fasting next on Good Friday. What does anyone do on the days they fast?

I'm an observant Jew who fasts on all jew fast days(around 7 per year).
I really don't do much. Maybe a bigger meal the night before, and a nice, large meal or two at night to break the fast. Hasn't really stopped my progress--I've set plenty of PR's the day after fast days.
