Default ZMA vs ETS

I am a big ZMA fan. Taken it off and on for a while and can always tell what it is doing for me. Mostly sleep related. Recently Chris Mason, At Large Nuttrition, pimped out a product they sale called ETS. http://http://atlargenutrition.com/n...?products_id=5
I am not an At Large Nutrition fan. But many of the reviews I read compare it to ZMA even though the mfg website mentions not sleep info or testosterone boosts.
Anyone have info experience with this product or in looking at the ingredients have any thoughts. Thanks.

Do they have a credible study showing what they claim is true? (I know there are no credible studies for ZMA).

From what I read/heard, it's the magnesium that's the big thing in all these. From what I remember, a lot of men are magnesium deficient and that causes a cascade of minor issues. I just take magnesium now.

Most studies done on ZMA are in zinc/magnesium deficient athletes. Magnesium is an important mineral in energy production as zinc is also important for immunity and testosterone. If you are deficient in these, which some athletes tend to be due to high stress demands such as lifting and lots of cardio then ZMA will help. I personally take it for the crazy dreams it gives me but I'm sure i get enough zinc and magnesium in the diet.

I really don't think you'll find one. And the studies on ZMA were financed by Conte, the inventor.

That said I do take ZMA on occasions when I'm having sleeping issues. It does seem to help with that.
