Default lost 8.6 lbs in 11 days.

I just don't get this. Is this becuase i've changed my diet so much?
I'm trying to eat 1800-2000 calories a day.
If you call it water weight it probably wouldn't be becuase I didn't work out today. I did yesterday but my water level should be alright.

I used to eat/drink 4000-6000 calories a day.
used to drink 3-6 cans of mountain dew a day... addicted for a while lol. was at 175 not losing weight or gaining weight.
would go out to eat 1-2x a week ... taco bell mmm...

I don't understand the weight change it seems too high. scale is relativly new.

Is this super unhealthy or was it I was just running off the weight i would eat? This seems to high doesn't seem right most i've ever lost in a week is 2-3 lbs but I was never dieting/life style changing.

It's probably 80% water loss.

You've stopped taking in so much salt, so your body is not holding onto the water. Other biochemical processes involved in a change of diet will affect water retention levels.

I generally drop 5 to 6# in the first week when I am eating clean and then it slows to the normal grind of 1 to 1.5# per week.

Well good on you for making the change. You won't regret it when 10 years from now you look and feel great while your peers at your age have no energy and look like crap!

Welcome to the forums!

You used to eat 4,000-6,000 calories per day
Now you eat 1,800-2,000 calories per day.
And you don't get it?
