Default JP: TNT Sub-Forum?

Like many of us, I've recently purchase--and am following--the TNT book and am interested in other people's experinces and questions.

The one major thread about TNT is getting pretty long and cumbersome. Is there enough interest in TNT to have a sub-forum, so the specific topics could have their own thread, making the information easier to access?

Thanks, for considering this, JP.

I wanted to ask that but I didn't come upfront since I'm pretty new on this board. But, I agree with you WorkinOnIt

If you have a question you can always start a new thread.

I hear you guys... Thinking on it. I hate to break up Nutrition too much, but if there is a large enough group of people using it I will do it.

At this point, I think people should just start more specific threads on TNT questions instead of sticking in the one thread and see how it goes. But that's JMHO.

JP, here is an idea. TNT is really what? A low-carb approach to fat loss. If you're going to break it down, perhaps by diet protocol might be a good approach: calorie deficit, low-carb, etc.

Here's my rationale for requesting a TNT subforum in more detail:

There are 100 replies to the "TNT Reviews / Opinions Wanted" thread, and the "Adam's Diet" thread (which is basically pre-pub TNT) has over 200--the largest number of any thread in this forum--so people seem interested in discussing this diet.

The problem is, trying to find specific information or post a new question is really difficult when you have to scroll through 300 posts.

It seems much more efficient to be able to post a specific question as a thread, and it would be much easier to search these threads.

It also is easier and more efficient to have all these threads in one place (i.e. in a separate forum), rather than scattered thru the Nutrition forum.

Of course all of this assumes that these is and will continue to be interest in the TNT Diet. Judging by the number and nature of the posts so far, there seems to be.

I will take part in the sub-forum as I'm on Day 6 of Plan A right now. On a side note, JP will you autograph your page in my book?

I agree with Bob and Lisa -- we can just post specific questions in the current forum. There's a pretty fine line between the TNT principles and just plain clean eating so I would guess most questions would appeal to a fairly broad audience, not just TNT followers.

FWIW, I poked around the TNT forum over at MH. It was maddening. At least 99% of the questions were from people who read the book, claimed to understand what it said, then asked for a special dispensation to eat sugar or starch.

No matter what happens with a new sub-forum or not. Just post individual questions with the New Post feature. Put TNT in the title of the thread. But, don't wait, post it.

That's why I don't go there anymore!! And it was almost more maddening in the training subforum ...
