Default too cold for fish oil?

I use Carlson's liquid fish oil & keep it in the 'fridge. Have done this for almost 2 years (no, not the same bottle).
Something happened apparently with the 'fridge and when I took the bottle out this AM it was solidified.

Any problems if I just let it reliquify?

I know my coconut oil cycles between less & more liquid at room temp - but it is afterall, a different type of fat.

I've been using the Carlson's for as long as I can remember and I've never had it solidify? That must have been a little freaky. However, it shouldn't be a problem. I don't believe fats have issues being frozen.

Just as a guess -- maybe the temp control on your fridge got bumped inadvertently?

I dont believe it should affect the oil. Olive oil does the same thing with little change.

Eh, our fridge every winter now likes to freeze most of the stuff (on the lowest setting you can have) and our waterline goes away (likely frozen) so our fish oil caps do this... and so far as we can tell nothing about them changes...

yes - something definitely happened to the fridge - I keep the Carlson's in the door for gosh sakes - the least cold area in my fridge.

UpNorth - I swig the Carlson's from the bottle - so I tipped it up and nothing came out - and I thought "WTF - I can't be out already" ...

I guess you're not sharing it with anyone else in the house

Mike -- pills don't necessarily need to be refrigerated but they can spoil and it can't hurt.
