Default When do you take your supplements?

Just wondering..I heard taking protein pre and post workout is good and throughout the day...that creatine and glutamine is good right after workout. Also carbs an hour after workout is good too...anyone heard this?

What about fish oil...I only take 3 a day...its says 6...does anyone take 6?

Whey I can take anytime. I always use it during/post workout and sometimes will throw some in with something if I need to get some more protein in. On lifting days, I take creatine post-workout. Other days, I'll take it in the morning with breakfast. In addition to a multivitamin every morning, I take 10 fish oil pills a day, which works out to between 3.5-4g of EPA/DHA a day. On days where I have school, it's 3 in the morning (6:30), 3 at lunch (10:30-11:30), 2 when I get home (3-4), then 2 later in the day (9ish). On weekends or days when I'm home, I'll take 2 pills every few hours, so its 5 times instead of 4.

I don't see a need for both pre and post whey, unless you're in a bulking cycle.

The rule of thumb for creatine is post, in your PWO drink, because the insulin response to the carbs help the transport.

I spread the fish oil throughout the day. I take nine in groups of three.

The multi-vit I try to grab in the morning.

I do try to have some good carbs, like my oatmeal concoction, an hour before workout.

beyond that, just eat normally and sensibly.
