Default Do I need BCAA?

I take whey protein, 1-2 sevrings of 40g (which is 32g of protein).

% of protein:
Alanine 5.0
Arginine 2.1
Aspartic acid 11.0
Cystine 2.2
Glutamic Acid 18.1
Glycine 1.4
Histidine 1.7
Isoleucine* 6.4
Leucine* 10.6
Lysine 9.6
Methionine 2.2
Phenylalanine 3.0
Proline 5.5
Serine 4.6
Threonine 6.7
Tryptophan 1.4
Tyrosine 2.6
Valine* 5.9
* = BCAA

this means I get this from each serving:

3.4g Leucine
2.0g Isoleucine
1.9g Valine

How many g of those BCAAs do you really need?
I also figured, if what I get from whey now isn't enough, it's probably cheaper to just take more whey instead of buying BCAA tabblets..

The BCAA suppliment (it also has other amino acids, but they say there's suppose to be a lot of BCAA in there) has this:
Per 100g
Alanine 3,32g
Arginine 1,70g
Aspartic Acid 6,66g
Cysteine 1,74g
Glutamic Acid 10,62g
Glycine 1,24g
Histidine 1,22g
Isoleucine 3,22g
Leucine 7,40g
Lysine 5,88g
Methionine 0,96g
Phenylalanine 2,26g
Proline 3,32g
Serine 3,12g
Threonine 3,64g
Tryptophane 1,16g
Tyrosine 2,24g
Valine 3,28g

they recommend 3 tabblets along with meals with low protein and 3 after training, which means pretty much 3 on rest days and 6 on training days.. 3 tabblets have 5.5g of protein.. now that doesn't make for a lot of BCAAs if you look at the ammount of different amino acids..

I think I just answered my own question.. but I want some of you to come and tell me that it's gonna be allright

I was kind of debating with myself if I could afford both the BCAAs and some creatine. I was looking for some creatine when I came across that. I've been on creatine for some time, but I haven't noticed anything, so I thought I would try something else that's suppose to work better (I've heard some people need a little help absorbing the creatine) either that or my creatine stores are natrually pretty full.
What do you think is the reason when people don't respond to creatine?

Are you not eating enough? The only time I would supplement BCAAs is when I am in a cal deficit and I want to maintain lean MM and strength. Most of the research shows the need for leucine, so make sure the BCAA you use (if you do) is high in it.

I'm eating enough, and I found I get enough BCAAs from my daily diet and whey protein. Thanks!

I recently finished a new article that will be featured at Mind and Muscle titled BCAA Supplementation Roundtable

The article features numerous contributors

It should be published next week
