Default What I ate yesterday

I joined Weight Watchers 2 weeks ago and am doing their flex plan(pretty much eat anything as long as they fit in your points). I am not exactly eating just anything but am instead opting for good choices and using WW's points as a guideline for the amount I should eat. The program as been beneficial to me as well because of the weekly meetings(despite the abundance of woman). This is what I ate yesterday, which is pretty much an example of what I would typically eat on a non-work out day. My goals are weight loss mainly. Please comment on what I ate yesterday and how I could improve my diet.

1 cup oatmeal
1 cup milk
1 Apple

Snack 1

0.5 Cup Cottage Cheese(1%)

.5 cup apple sauce

2 eggs
1 Tbsp Lite Mayo

1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Snack afternoon:

Cup of Carrots
150 calories of Cheddar Cheese

Dinner:

3 things come to mind...

1. wow, people still use something like weight watches?
2. a guy doing weight watchers
3. are women at weight watchers really the kind you wana hook up with?

mostly cynical, i know. just messing, however.

I'd probably agree on the too few calories, but its hard to tell without knowing what else you are doing. Do you have a weight routine? Other activities? Sit down job or physically demanding one?

Start putting it all into Fitday do that for a week and then try to reflect on it.

I don't really know about WW personally, but I think there are better programs out there if you are coupleing this with a good weight routine. One thing I noticed though was a lacking in proteins. You've got some good food in there, but is that a profile that you can maintain for months/years?

I think the important thing is that you find something that works for you. Some people do well with weight watchers and some do not. There are definitely benefits such as a support environment which is very useful when people have common goals.

Is this diet working for you? Do you have energy throughout the day or are you finding that you become tired and sluggish? Is your digestion working properly or are you irregular, gassy, and/or bloated? Is this a diet you can stick to for a lifetime? Or are you going to lose some weight then go back to your normal habits to gain it back again?

Here's are some things to consider...

You don't lose weight to get healthy. You get healthy to lose weight.

There is no 1 diet that works for everyone. Your diet should be based upon your individual needs.
