Default extreme changes-negative results

Ok, so I've been working at this whole fitness thing for a while and I'm getting better at making changes, the problem is I think I'm making the wrong changes. Essentialy I am a 6'2 320lb 26 year old male who has a moderately sedentary life. I am incorporating stationary bike and bar-bell 400 rep grappling circuits on 3 days of the week. The physical load is enough to break my muscle down but I'm not over exerting or hurting myself. I am stretching before and after workouts.

That part of it has been consistent with no negative effects. Recently however I have taken precision nutrition and a few other guidelines into practice. I have literally carried a bowl of broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, radishes, spinache, and carrots with me, as well as lean meat like roast with no gravy and lean beef chilli, and I have been eating every 2-3 hours. No simple sugars, and some occasional fruits. I have also been drinking 1 gallon of water a day in different forms, like distilled, and straight ice tea.

The new diet has helped drop weight to a degree, but I have been getting headaches and felt really tired and weak since the new diet.

Is this a transition for my body and will go away when the habbits set in, or have I broken some nutrition rule and need to make an adjustment?

Any advice or theories are welcome!

Are you keeping track of how many calories you're consuming?

Not really. In a week I will have eaten two pepper, a bag of baby carrots, two heads of broccoli, two heads of cauliflower, quite a bit of spinache, and I get about 3 ounces of beef at each sitting, plus all the water/tea.

Your diet seems to be light on calories. Figuring 5 servings of beef daily you are just over 1000 cals and the vegetables and fruit with nothing else might get you around 1500 to 1800 calories at the most. Your maintenance calories not including any workouts came up to just over 2200 assuming you are around 30% body fat. My suggestion would be to add in some different protein sources (Fish, chicken, pork, eggs) and more of it along with some healthy fats. If you take in around 2750 calories and keep working out you will still see good weight loss results.

Thanks for the response. It could be too much of a calorie deficit. I'm going to be stocking chicken, salmon, and roast, and as soon as I get in the habbit of cleaning my pots and pans as I use them, I'll incorporate the eggs and check back.

I was concerned with a withdrawel after so many years of eating simple sugars from candy and white bread and pastas. I'll get the salmon in there and get some eggs going and try to squeeze in some mixed nuts for the healthy fats. Thanks again!
