Extreme Cut for women
I tried a search on this subject but found nothing helpful.
My girlfriend gave birth over a year now. She gained a few pounds, specially around the waist and was never able to lose them despite eating with some care and working out (indoor soccer training) one or two times a week.
So we turned to drugs. We were told Extreme Cut for women would work well.
Well, she is on it for 2 full weeks now and she is yet to lose a single pound!!
I have no single, direct question for you guys. Feel free to give us your thoughts on the subject. I’m sure they will all help.
Thanks

That's like saying "I wanted to gain some muscle, so I sorta paid more attention to my diet, lifted 1-2x per week. No results, so I turned to steroids."

Took 9 months to put it on. Takes time and determination to take it off.
There are folks here that can help. But they will need to see specific details of what the actual diet looks like. Eating with care doesn't mean the same thing to everyone.
For me..eating with care means tracking every calorie that goes into my mouth and logging the grams of carbs/protien and fat and calories that I eat.
My ultimate goal to lose 2 pounds a week. When that doesn't happen I adjust the caloric intake and possibly increase activities a bit. But mostly it's all about the diet. This fat on my mid section..it took me 40 years to put it on. I figure it might take a while for me to lean out again.
There are no short cuts. (No safe ones for sure)

So, when I sorta eat with care and workout a little bit... well, I can usually maintain my weight. That's just my life in general. If I actually want to change my weight and lose fat, well that actually takes WORK. I have to actually pay attention to what I eat so that I don't eat too much or too little, and so that I eat the right stuff to keep my full and fueled. I have to work out MOST days of the week, not 1 or 2. It's work.

This is so quotable. Excellent hilarity there.

Indeed, my words are very quotable! I have to agree with GqArtguy and Alan.
Still, i think we are missing the point here. She eats, at major meals, the same meals i do, and i know for sure that she eats less amounts i do in and between meals. I was able to lose a full inch on my waist over the last two months and we both do the same amount of exercise. Also, i think i live a more sedentary life style than she actually does, chasing the small brat in and around the house and doing all the house shores, while i sit around the computer nearly all my free time.
Having that said, she is also on those pills and i was the one who lost something while she maintained. I have trouble explaining this fact. How about you?

Uh, prolly because women and men have different caloric requirements, based on height, weight, age, activity level, and gender....

Bingo. Maybe she eats 15% less than you, but in fact her caloric needs are 30% lower. If you're not truly tracking and measuring, there's no way to know how her body reacts to different activity and calorie levels.
My wife and I have very different responses to resistance training, interval training and the types of foods we eat.
