Default supplements

I am currently taking fish oil and protien from GNC, and mens one a day. wondering if anyone has used flamout, beta-7 or Metobalic drive. Are these any better than the generic and if so are they worth the money.

I would not waste money on hype. And, basically that is the only difference between the "x-treme" named products and generic. Don't get me wrong. You want to buy quality, but I doubt the products you named justifiy their price.

Gotta agree with mahler. I buy bargain creatine, Costco brand fish oil, and whatever whey protein is available at Costco. Supplements should only play a small role in your diet, and accordingly they only play a small role in your monthly food bill. No need paying for the marketing, hype, and bodybuilder endorsements.

I agree with what the others have said except that I'm willing to pay more for something I like the taste of. I like the taste of Metabolic Drive better than any other protein I've tried, so I buy it. That's all I buy from Biotest regularly, but to me it's worth it.

If you don't like to take a lot of fish oil caps, then Flameout is the way to go. Metabolic Drive is just protein powder, but it's the tastiest one out there (and it's reflected in the price). Some people find it worth the extra dough.

If you're buying other stuff at t-nation, their creatine is competitively priced, so add it into your cart.

i agree with Mike

same ingredients what does it matter

just becasue it is priced high doesn't make it better although i am sure the companies reps will inform you their product is the best and tested by science and the only one that really works - you know typical type 2 SS

thanks

whey protein is the only supplement i use. I think protein+creatine are the only supplements anyone really would need. maybe fish oil.

unregulated. You don't know how much of the particular vitamin is in it, or how much will be used, etc. Food is better, IMO, but it's kinda hard to probably get everything you need.

I am newbie here, I agree with you all, Its true that many local stores supply protein and other nutritional supplements they worth the money but I prefer Bayho.com. As it provides vitamins, herbal, and dietary supplements that are all clinically tested ..

I agree. Man has made it this long w/o needing vitamins.

I use Sam's Club whey (Body Fortress) and CVS fish oil. I have a gym mate who uses the pricey stuff, he doesn't seem to be any bigger than I am though his wallet is thinner.
