Default Cheatin actually good for U???

I have been reading adn listening alot, to many different things lately about cheat days. I am a runner and lifter and I was wondering would a cheat day or meal hurt my training as a runner??? What would be considered a cheat meal too? Because I usually eat around 2500-2800 calories a day. Usually about 60% carbs and 30% protein and 10%fats.
Those are estimated numbers as well. Any information would be helpful

Cheat days will keep you sane and your progress steady.

A cheat is anything outside of your accepted standards. If you're going my macro's than it'd be anything that would throw off your daily window. If you're going by high\low carbs then it'd be something fatty\carby.

You have a plan. You don't follow it = cheat

That sounds like a perfect explanation to me.

Many people find that an occasional cheat day can go a long way in keeping them, like Gobbla said, sane. It's a lot easier to deny yourself things if you know that you can have them every now and then.
