Default Protein

What are some ideas so getting more protein in your diet, other then supplements. Also, make it simple so that a college kid could make, with limited cooking experience and supplies.

Tuna, eggs, chicken, beef, salmon. Good protein sources and even I can cook them.

Think about non perishable items too for even more convenience...raw nuts, peanut butter, beans, jerky (salmon, beef, and/or ostrich), the tuna or salmon packs that are in resealable packs vs cans.

milk (powdered milk may be a good option for you), cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt - especially greek style yogurt... basically, dairy is good.

Seafood is another good option, precooked frozen shrimp requires no cooking; just let it thaw and eat it cold with cocktail sauce or you can heat it up with some butter, parmesan, and chopped parsley for a simple scampi. Sashimi is expensive, but also requires no cooking, buy fresh (FRESH!) ahi tuna and/or salmon, wasabi powder, and soy sauce. Tilapia can be microwaved.

The tuna packs come in a bunch of flavors, all pretty tasty. I'm starting to see chicken and salmon fillets packed the same way.

Not quite as cheap as a can, but it'll give you some variety.

String cheese can go for the day without refrigeration, same with HB eggs.
