need suggestions please
I have had great success using Udo's oil blend in the past and am seeing results with it now but it gets expensive at $45 for a 941ml bottle that lasts me 31 days (two tablespoons per day is one serving)
Here are the ingredients:
Flax oil
Sunflower oil
Sesame oil
coconut oil
Evening primerose oil
Rice germ and bran oil
Soy lecithin
Oat germ
Tocotrienols
Most of these are essential fatty acids, what would be less expensive alternative to buying Udo's
Thanks in advance.

What kind of "results" did you get from using the Udo's? How did you measure this? Fat loss, muscle gain, joint-pain reduction? Just curious.
Looks like an interesting mixture. One small thing that grabbed my attention was that you take 2 tablespoons at once. I tend to be picky with myself, but personally I'd split that up. One tblsp at lunch and one at dinner.
Now I haven't done the math, but I'm pretty darn sure you can spend less $$$ with fish oil capsules, olive oil, ground flax seed, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and straight-up coconut oil each on their own. That way you'll also be sure to get the other benefits like fiber, minerals, etc.

Ian it was all of the above but mostly my recovery improved greatly.
I take one tablespoon at lunch then one at dinner, sorry my bad description skills hehehe.
You bring up a good point on getting them seperately, and i may take that into consideration as its more economical.

I'd try to work solid versions into your diet. Shredded unsweetened coconut is good stuff. Also, coconut milk is good in shakes or curry sauces over chicked and shrimp.
Sunflower seeds and sesame seeds are great. All of these solids contain so much more than just the oil. Plus, you won't have to choke it down. Just eat food.
I don't really know the value of the last few things in the list. There's a discussion of soy lecithin in the Green+ thread. But, if you still want some, it's cheap on it's own.

Cool. I go through bag after bag of David's sunflower seeds. They are a great snack for me, since they take a while to shell/eat.

Yeah... you would expect it to be delicious like a sweet coconut drink.

Yes, I remember as a child dipping my finger in some brownie batter my mother was making. She had added the cocoa and various other ingredients... just not the sugar.
