Default nutrisystem fallacies

Nutrisystem fallacies

Few months ago I wrote Nutrisystems a letter concerning their false claims concerning Gi index. They say - Introducing breakthrough technology of Gi index - separating good from bad carbs

What the Gi index is and says
Developed in 1981 by Dr.David Jenkins , to help determine which foods were best people in controlling blood sugar

Ranking of carbs and their immediate impact on blood glucose levels

Benefits concerning wt loss and gen health in non diabetics debatable

Gi varies when mixing foods, also depends on previous meals

I also sent a letter to David Jenkins informing him of fallacies being promoted concerning gi index

When I sent letter I received a letter informing me the company would someone contact me and respond to my concern. Never received return call.

Seen advertisement today for Nutrisystem working has changed they now say Glycemic advantages, At least that’s better than previous ads.

Refer to Aragon’s article Validity of Glycemic Index at www.alanaragon.com

Thanks
