Default What to eat before/after cardio

I´m cutting and I´m doing two or three short -25 min or so- cardio sessions (along with some mobility work and whole body stretching); I was thinking about what to eat before and after considering my goal is fat loss (I´m a liitle under 14% now).

For the moment I´ve been taking some BCAA´s and some Vit. C before, and a whey hake with EFA´s after, but I´ve been thinking it may not be the best option.

Thanks.

Just a whey shake in water and a fish oil cap or two is what I use for morning cardio when cutting, works great.

whey i understand, but what's the purpose of fish oil (at this particular time that is)?

personally, i have carb(complex)/protein of some sort both before and after even when cutting as i find my workouts to be much more intense and helps with glycogen restoration.

My purpose was to avoid gluconeogenesis by not throwing a reltively quick source of protein with no carbs after cardio. Those fats would make that digestion slower. I may be wrong.

When I lift I take my protein + carbs meal, with no fat, but I wasn´t sure if it was the best option after considering that the goal is fat loss and my sessions are pretty short and not too demanding.
