If possible im eating the 'bad' meals after workouts.
Ice cream, chocolate, cake, big macs, its all good.
Ive ditched the protien shake before, my protien intake is high enough.
Cals around 4500 per day. Im honestly leaning up, infact ive dropped a few lbs since 2 weeks ago..
Im not really sure whats going on. Not really going to complain, its summer time so I dont mind getting a little leaner. Getting leaner at 4500cals per day probally shouldnt happen though.

Always knew you Calgarians were odd. Must be something in the water, or possibly the air.

Must be pretty solid Frank at 5'9 and 220 and seeing some abs. If I ate 4000 calories I'd blow up like a parade blimp.:p
PS - I guess that explains the name Frank the tank huh?

I was called that throughout highschool football haha.
4000+ cals sounds like alot of fun, but day in and day out, it gets tiresome, and fairly expensive if I dont stick to a hell of a lot of nuts and oils. I do find I bloat up with salt a bit, so I try to keep that a little lower.

Couple secret meals -
Teriyaki chicken. Has to be from a quality commercial place. Like Best Teriyaki #11. Holy insulin spike. Chicken breast, buckets of white rice, and gallons of sugar and soy sauce with no fat. Holy calories and rebound hunger. You'll have a blast devouring it. Sugar ain't gonna kill ya if you cover your "nutrient density" in other meals.
Close second is General Tso's chicken. Great for some rebound hunger.

Frank,
I am not a fan of a "bulking diet" however, if you are having problems getting enough calories in the day, here's a "snack" food that I used 'back in the day' to help put on weight.
Almonds and dried cranberries - Its amazingly tasty, inexpensive (bulk food store) and caloricly dense. Throw them together in a tupperware container, and snack throughout the day.

Thanks for these,
The almonds and cranberrys are great. I use this one alot actually, but mix in some peanuts and dried dates and call it a trail mix. Tons of 'clean' cals very quickly.
I'm not really a fan of the all out 'bulk' for most people either, and im not trying to do that right now. Im trying to just make steady progress, I just happen to need lots of cals.
