Those numbers are gonna scare the crap out of chronic dieters on 1200 cals and pretty much all nonbodybuilders who open this thread

And by the way your post looks, it seems like you're over-thinking it. For most people, if your pre & post meals EXIST, that's enough to cause progress. If you're not dieting hard, or certainly if you're in a caloric surplus and your meal frequency is high, then nutrient timing is a minimal concern.

Getting the amounts exact is definitely an obsessive-compulsive thing to tool around with once you're at an advanced level of progress and you want to pull out all the possible nitpicky stops. If you think you're there & ready to crunch numbers & start obsessing, let me do like Lisa & link you to the good stuff.

Thanks, Alan. I'm not too obsessed with it at this point, I'm just happy to know I am on the right track. My Pre WO drink needs a tiny boost but my Post WO is spot on according to your rules laid out in that link. I just need to stay consistent on adding that 60-90 minute pre WO meal.

You might not even need to worry about the exact placement 60-90 minute pre-pre unless you were a serious performance or strength athlete with a long grueling workout ahead, in which you were gunning for increases in the iron. The immediate pre should do just fine.
