Apurva, I'm no nutrition expert, and I haven't been on Adam's diet, but I am a vegetarian and have a bit of experience in figuring out how to get enough protein in my day.

Since you're on a regimen like Adam's diet, I thought perhaps you might be interested in one trick I've found. I buy this brand of egg white powder (it's the best price I've found, IMO):

and I make the same recipe (see below) in one of two ways: either in a plastic pint-size container sprayed with Pam, for a muffin, or on a paper plate, also sprayed with Pam, for a large sandwich tortilla:
One scoop egg white powder (1/4 cup = 22 grams protein)
good sprinkle of psyllium husk powder (for fiber)
1-2 teaspoons baking powder
stevia powder for sweetener (or Splenda)
cinnamon
(optional) 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree (if interested in pumpkin muffin)
extracts for taste: apricot, banana, almond, hazelnut...
Da Vinci SF syrup, also for flavor, any kind: enough to create a paste or batter
Spread over paper plate or mix in plastic container and microwave on high for 1 minute or 1.25, depending. Until set.
You can create a savory tortilla omitting the stevia, cinnamon, and SF syrup and using onion powder, garlic powder, a pinch of salt, and enough water to create a batter.
It works well, is obviously low-fat--unless you want to add oil--and is high in protein. It works great as the "bread" for a sandwich, or as a quick source of protein before a WO (not as a quick as a whey protein drink, but good).
Best of all for you, your wife won't object to it since it's meat-free.
I hope you find this interesting enough to try. Once I began to play with this, it quickly became a staple of my diet.
