Default BCAA or glutamine ?

which, if either, is the more worthwhile supplement ?
and tablets or powder- any difference?

Unless there's a special reason that you want more of them, you probably get enough of each in your protein powder.

What are you looking for them to do for you, specifically?

i was just thinking that maybe they would be useful to keep next to my bed to take a few if i wake up in the middle of the night sometimes, or to keep them in my bookbag and pop a few in class or something if i go too long without eating.. stuff like that

That's cool. Protein powder is much cheaper and most contain all that. But, sometimes it is inconvenient to shake a bottle of powder and water in class... Frowned upon, I'd think.
