Default Suggestion for quick easy snacks

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions for quick easy snacks I could eat that would help me add a couple hundred calories to my diet.

Let me give you some background. I consider myself an intermediate/advanced lifter. (More intermediate than advanced) I am following NROL Strength 1. I have already completed hyper 1 and 2 and loved it.

I am asking for tips on quick snacks because I am a teacher and would have to eat them in the morning maybe in between classes before I eat lunch, and also between my lunch and dinner, again between classes most likely. I feel that I am getting enough calroies in my breakfats, lunch, and dinners, I am just not eating much between those. Oh, and cheap is also kind of important as, I stated before, I am a broke ass teacher.

Thanks

Nuts and trail mix are a staple of my diet. Almonds, peanuts, cashews, etc., some raisens, other dried fruit. Real cheap to make yourself, too.

Nuts are high caolorie since they are a fat source.

Also nat and string cheese (good fat to protein ratio).

Generally, anything that you use as a fat source is calorie dense.

you may even consider whole milk as part of your PWO meal.

I often bring around some peperonni, sometimes the turkey kind. Pretty easy. Kind of $$$ though, also beef jerkey is good (good homemade.. again $$).

I usually carry around a ziplock 1/2 filled with almonds if im concerned about not making my calorie totals for the day. 20 almonds is around 170cals if I remember right.

Not much to add: apples + PB, cottage cheese with almonds and pineapple or berries.

Cool thanks guys, I think I am going to go with the trail mix idea. I figure that is the easiest way to get those calories in.
