Default carbing up

I'm doing a quick, 3 week "cut" before I start going back to a slow, long bulk. My diet strategy so far has been less than 100g carbs per day. A bowl of oats on lifting days and an apple after HIIT on off days. The rest from veggies.

I've had decent energy so far. Not the crazy amount I had while on a caloric surplus, but enough energy to get through my workouts.

Would it be beneficial for me to have a high-carb day 1x per week?to induce muscle growth, replenish glycogen and all that good stuff. Or would it just hinder my fat loss?

You're pretty young aren't you? Unless you've been very fat before, you'd probably be better off just eating a lot and working out like an animal. You've got the best hormones\recovery that you're ever going to have. Ever ever ever ever. Take advantage of it.

you know what gobbla, you are 100 percent right. Cutting is a waste of time for me. I might as well get as strong as I can now. Thanks for the advice.

When you are 40, like me, you can worry about the fine details of your diet. For now, just keep th basic clean eating ideas in mind and do what feels the best for your workout routine.
