Default General Protein Supplement Mix

Hey guys,

I was wondering what would be a good protein mix for just general supplementation, meaning something to get my total protein intake up.

I was thinking a mix of:
2/3 MF whey isolate
1/6 Millecar MPC
1/6 Calcium Caseinate

I would probably take it before bed, so aswell as being general upping of my protein intake, it could also act to prevent catabolism while i sleep, hence the Millecar and calcium caseinate.

What do you think of this mix? Should i adjust the ratios a bit? less whey? Or go with somethign completely different? Or just be cheap and get straight whey concentrate?

Thanks,
Simon

Maybe just some sort of milk protein blend which has both whey and casein already since they're not separated.

I am planning to buy from www.myopure.com.au, which is the cheapest i can find within australia, plus has free postage to australia. They sell the different protein powders seperately, so i will mix it myself, which is no problem.

Protein powder isn't really needed apart from the workout shakes. If you can, just get some cottage cheese before bed. Get the 2% one, it's tastier, less carb and the fat will slow its absorption even more. Some really fat plain yogurt (10%) could do the trick too. The flavored ones are usually full of sugar. Egg whites is also a nice protein "supplement"
Otherwise, I don't think that you need to mix all those 3 together. Just whey + one kind of casein will be plenty enough.
