Default Udo's DHA Oil Blend

This product may or may not be new, but I just noticed it this morning at the local supplement store. Has anyone used this product? Looks like the DHA comes from algae, which is a new one to me.

Only has 100mg's of DHA and 3mg's of EPA per TBSP... seems pretty low.

Nothing wrong with Udo's oils. If you're a vegan or vegatarian, get your DHA and EPA where you can. If you're not, fish oil is a better buy.

Also, I'd rather eat most of those other ingredients (flaxseeds, sunflower and sesame seeds, coconut oil, etc.) with my other foods, rather than take a tablespoon of oil, just to get it. The whole seeds will have all sorts of other nutrients, fiber, etc. that an oil can't have.

The regular Oil Blend has more omega-3's in it. That's the one I usually use. I don't see a reason to switch.

LD,

How do you use coconut oil? Almost pulled the trigger on some today at the grocery store. I'm pretty unimaginative in the kitchen.

I cook with it and eat it in the junk foods that contain it.

It's pretty good for stir frying, as it has a high smoke point.

Actually, I mostly just eat coconut. Unsweetened flakes in stuff and raw coconut as a snack.
