Default Macadamia Nut Pancakes

these are awesome. I made them today, and a few days ago. soooo good. Not too unhealthy either, as you can sub a lot of the regular pancake ingredients for healthier ones.

all-purpose flour 3 cups
sugar 1/2 cup
baking powder 1 Tbsp
baking soda 1 tsp
salt 1/2 tsp
buttermilk 3 cups
unsalted butter 1/2 cup melted
egg 4
vanilla extract 2 tsps
macadamia nut 1 cup chopped
maple syrup 1 cup

that makes 6 servings, which is a lot. I usually make them all up and use all the batter, and then i refredgerate them, and then heat them up on the stove top or toaster oven a few days later. You can sub splenda for the sugar, make your own butter milk, smart balance butter, egg beaters, whole wheat flour, and sugar free syrup.

Do you actually make them with all purpose flour and sugar?

What exactly is smart balance butter?

i used whole wheat flour, and used splenda baking as the sugar

smart balance is a healthy butter. It's comprised almost all of healthy fats.

Those things sound yummy as Jessica Alba on a picnic table, but I think I'd use real butter but sub everything else.

Ahh it's a margarine, that makes a lot more sense.

"Healthy" butter didn't make a lot of sense to me, I already feel it's healthy!

Stuff looks interesting though, thanks for the link.
