Sally Fallon is a great author and I have used a lot of her advice from Nourishing Traditions. What did you learn from the book?

Default good ol'Weston

I actually haven't read it. I'm a member of the Weston A. Price Foundation and have Nourishing Traditions and truly believe it is an essential cookbook for everybody. I was just curious if any one has read this newer one before I check it out.
My whole philosophy is I would rather spend my money on quality foods from local markets as opposed to purchasing vitamins and supplements. The only downside is the time it takes to prepare these foods...but its for a healthy you. Living this way and eating these foods I've noticed that my recovery time has increased after exercise and I have to believe it is do to the fact that my body is under less stress with natural foods in my diet. I played college football a few years ago and would consume myoplex, massbuilders, every kind of protein powder, glutamine, creatine and tons of vitamins on a daily basis. 1. I was putting on size and strength but never felt that great or healthy and 2. GNC made a fortune as my savings account was non existant.
I've checked out several posts and I'm so glad to see so many people are eating this way as well.
To greath health!
