Diet, Nutrition and SupplementationPost here for supplement reviews or nutritional advice. If you're trying to get "ripped abz" THIS is where you should be.
Okay I plan on adding some supplements to my list of supplements, which is currently a multi, whey, and fishoil. I am going to add creatine now I don’t want to spend more then 150 dollars every 3 months so that makes me have to cut down between Greens+ or Surge. If you had to pick one of these, which would you, pick?
With the whey and a high GI carb you will a lot of what surge is offering. You are already buying whey.
You are taking nothing like greens+.
Seems a good investment to add more veggies nutrients to your diet to me.
Og.

I agree, greens+ is awesome, particularly if you can't get all your veggies in a day (and few people can). Surge is a great product I'm sure (I've never tried it), but it's rather expensive and there are other sources of simple carbs.

No matter how great greens+ may be, I think for some it becomes an excuse to stop eating as many fruits and veggies. You should focus on getting enough fruits and veggies, and save the money you'd otherwise spend on the greens+.
As for Surge, as Og suggests, you can pick up some fast carbs (dextrose, maltodextrin, or even gatorade powder) for dirt cheap, and add that to your whey.
I take neither of these supplements, and I don't plan to either. Don't get me wrong--they both have their merits... but I just feel that if you're on a budget, why push it with an unnecessary purchase?
Save the money for extra weight plates, because based on your training log I'm sure you'll need some soon!

I eat at least one serving of fruits and/or veggies with every meal and still take greens+.

I agree, completely.

I would've said Surge. Best (and best tasting) PWO formula out there. I would've replaced the Greens+ with more veggies in your diet...

10 Pounds of ON 100% WHEY is 80 Dollars. Thats 3720 grams of who knows how much high quality protein.
Trueprotein.com- 80 dollars and my Discount code BTR777 can get you 5040 grams of high quality whey protein isolate. Or you can go with Whey protein concentrate for the same price and get a whopping 6900 grams of protein. Now what is the better choice?
When you realize that trueprotein.com is the better choice don't forget to use my discount code BTR777
The question was too specific, unless you think of it as I have $40 bucks and can only buy one.
I think a PWO drink is necessary. I think eating enough veggies is necessary.
Surge is argueably the best PWO drink, but perfection isn't necessary, unless you've got the cash to go with perfection. Whey and a mixture dextrose and/or malto will do wonders compared to now PWO drink. Or, chocolate milk... (whey and malto/dextrose seems cheaper).
If you don't eat enough veggies (and the right kinds), Greens+ will be great for long term health.
You can get big and strong with food alone. PWO drinks will help a lot. But, a continuous diet lacking in good veggies and high in grains, legumes, cheese, etc. causes all sorts of problems that Greens+ can help counteract.
Thanks for all the help Ive decided Greens+ is better for me because I have to eat so many calories to gain wieght veggies don't get the attention they need and I think greens+ will help me get more veggies in the diet
