I don't know about you Kevin, but it seems to me that Biotest produces some pretty good stuff relatively cheap. Well, maybe not cheap, but if you look at what you're getting, it's pretty cost effective. Wouldn't you say? Their protein powder may be a little high, but their Creatine, BCAA, Fish Oil, Hot-Rox & Spike are not that expensive when you look at the amount of the supp. you get. Even compared to similar products sold at Wal-Mart...I don't know.

I don't order that much stuff from them, but that seems to be the case.

I love biotest. I think the products are great. During the summer when I have cash I use Surge and always have a tub or two of Low carb MD. The new natural whey is good too. I use it in many of my shakes.

Cool - I'm glad they finally made a larger tub of Surge.

So Kevin, Whey/Surge around the workout and MD before bed?

Anyone tried Power Drive?

It seems like great stuff, but it is expensive, you just can't deny that. It's so much cheaper to just get gatorade and mix it with whey and ICE BCAA's. May not be as quality as Biotest, but SO MUCH cheaper. I just can't justify spending 30 bucks for 16 servings. I do use their Power Drive though, that's only 17 for 31 servings, lasts a while when you only use it on training days. Use that with epedrine, synephrine, and caffiene, and I'm ready to go!!

Not to mention there ZMA...its only $9. The $9 charge for shipping blows, but even at $18 its right on or cheaper than other ZMA products Ive seen.

I think Biotest makes quality products. I buy Power Drive, Surge and Metabolic Drive protein powder.

Jason, Gatorade and ICE will do the job, but wow ICE tastes bad. I like Surge because I actually LIKE the way it tastes. It's refreshing during a workout instead of disgusting. That's worth the cost to me!

Yeah, ICE isn't the best tasting, and it hardly mixes, it just gets all foamy. It's still better than MRM's powder though (which you have to scoop in your mouth and wash down), and plain BCAA powder is soooo gritty. Mixing the grape ICE with grape gatorade and vanilla whey actually isn't half bad, it actually tastes better than just ICE with gatorade, the whey makes the ICE mix in better.

I usually only use 2 scoops for a serving. That stretches it out to 24 servings for the new tub, or $1.25 per serving.

When I was doing serious bulking and had to drink two full servings per workout (one before and one after), then I switched to a cheaper whey hydrosylate/ isolate mixture and maltodextrin from the protein factory. I was still paying right at $1.00 per serving though, and it tasted nasty. I was so glad to switch back to Surge after that!

THe scoot is smaller. So you will need 3 scoops to get the equivelant of 2 in the older tub.

yep I commented about this in the "Makeshift Surge" thread about ordering Surge for the first time. I like it; its just so convenient and the bigger tub is just a bonus. My plan is to use 1 scoop during lifting and then consuming a full serving post w/o. . . does that sound good?

anyways I've really come to like BioTest products and they are also SUPER fast in shipping their stuff out. Here's what I'm currently using from them, haven't been let down in any of their products.

-Surge
-Metabolic Drive
-ZMA
-Spike!
-Metabolic Drive Protein Bars

I may try it once, just to see for myself, but it'll have to wait until the next paycheck, at the earliest.
