Default Bio Greens - Vitamin Shoppe

I went into my local Vitamin Shoppe the other day looking to pick up some Greens+ after hearing so many good things about it.

Unfortunately it was out of stock at the time, but right next to it was a Vitamin Shoppe branded product called Bio Greens. It was a bit cheaper, and I was close to picking it up, but wanted to see if anyone has any experience or feedack on this product.

Here's a link:

Are you in any way affiliated with the vita shoppe or with "biogreens", because this smells a little like spam, albeit a more clever way to convey it.

No, no, no!! I'm not in any way affiliated with Vitamin Shoppe. Actually, I don't really like the store and prefer to buy my stuff online.

I was just passing by to pick up some whey and decided to get some Greens+. The guy at the store said they were out, but pointed me to this "Bio Greens" stuff, which he said was the same thing pretty much?

But is it? Or should I go for the real deal?

I'd stick with the real deal. What little I know about Greens+ is that they have an extremely high level of quality control.

Agreed, and they are having a sale on their site: www.Greensplus.com

Just a note that even their "special" prices are quite a bit higher than what you can find on Amazon.

Sweet, I think I'm gonna get the capsules though. I heard the powder tastes like ass.

Plus I don't know how well I'm gonna be able to slug down green colored stuff.

Yep, And I take the stuff religiously. you want to hear my storY? I have a intestional track disease where it does not contract so the waste is not moved. So I get very constipated, alot. I got perscribed two drugs which did nothing, mirolax and something else. After I started taking GP it has improved so much where I dont even take the medication anymore. I am back to my old self. Since taking it I have not had problems with my intentional track.

Good Call, I use the caps too. Makes your shakes that much more enjoyable. Just be prepaired to take 12 caps.

Yikes, 12??

Hmm... I wonder what's better: A) Choking down 12 capsules or B) drinking a green, foul tasting liquid.

I'm thinking of taking the approach of mixing a dose of the powder with just a small amount of liquid and just chugging it like a shot. Like a really healthy, green tequila shot.

IF only my fellow students were into that. Or like Greens Plus Pong.

I don't know as I'd go as far as "foul". It's faintly sweet. Faintly sweet grass clippings. I dump it in a chocolate peanut butter super shake and don't look back. YMMV, of course.

Kevin,

The pills are roughly the same price as the powder but do they have the same amount of servings per container? Just wondering. Was that true about your intentional track (whatever that is)? You'd make a good engineer with spelling like that BTW.

I use the Wild Berry Greens Plus and it's much more enjoyable than the standard kind.

Kevin, I have the same deal (IBS?) Are you taking just the regular Greens plus or one of others with fiber? I definitely want to try this because regular doctors have no answer other than a prescription pad.

Has anyone out there tried the Berry flavor greens plus? I am about to order some but want some feedback.

Thanks.

Oh, and if so, has anyone tried it in their shakes
