Diet, Nutrition and SupplementationPost here for supplement reviews or nutritional advice. If you're trying to get "ripped abz" THIS is where you should be.
Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and I travel pretty extensively for work. Basically, I find myself living out of hotels 4 or 5 days a week.
Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to keep up with nutrition/supplementation while traveling and being away from a kitchen. Many of the places I end up at do not have a refrigerator much less a blender for shakes.
In a pinch, I bring whey powder in a ziploc and mix that with water (bleh) or skim milk if I can steal it from the coffee bar for a poor man's shake. There have to be some better ways.
Thanks for the link, I gotta try one of those protein bar recipes.

Try different kinds of protein powder that mix better in water. Muscle Milk & Metabolic Drive are two that I've used in the past and work very well with just water (ice water...very important) in a shaker. Most hotel continental breakfasts have (somewhat) fresh fruit. Veggies are tough to get, unless you're eating out. Greens Plus is what Berardi recommends especially when traveling and don't have access to fresh veggies, so I'd recommend that in the a.m. &/or other times of the day. That's easy to travel with as well.
Also, get Craig Ballantyne's Bodyweight workouts...much better than using the hotel "fitness center" which is usually a cheap, and usually dangerous treadmill and a bike. Neither of which has been maintained at all.
Happy Trails!!
Ted
