So does anyone have/know the recipe? I could really use it as I am looking for a high fat, high protein, low carb meal replacement to have during those odd times at work. Thanks.

I have this granola bar recipe from John, but it's not P+F. I am not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it's the only granola bar recipe I could find. He has several protein bars that are high fat.

Lisa

Quote:
High Protein Granola Bars

P+C

2 cups raw oat bran
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup egg whites
1 cup vanilla soy milk
1.5 cups honey
2 cups chocolate whey protein powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix it all together in a big bowl, then spread it out on a large nonstick cooking tray. Spray the tray with Pam, or wipe a little olive oil on it with a paper towel. Bake for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees, or until the top gets light brown and the sides start separating from the pan.

Cut into 10 pieces:

Each bar:

Total Calories: 471
Fat: 5 g
Carbs: 78 g
Fiber: 7 g
Protein: 27 g

Lisa,

Thanks for posting thatn recipe, but as you suspected that is not the one I was looking for. The one I am looking for was published in Men's Fitness around 6 months ago. It was sooo good. I will never find it....

I LOVE THE MIXED NUT BAR!!

I probably eat this one more than any of the other bars in GN. Just don't over cook it because the protein powder turns to this weird styrofoam consistency.
