If helps it helps. I used to think the same way as you. Now I agree with lost dog on the whole 'supplements that your diet doesnt provide enough of'.
I still have a hard time taking pills of this and 5g of that, and im not very consistant with it. But I do agree that it helps and some of these things can improve your health (fish oils, creatine etc).
I wouldnt want to do this diet without some of the supplementation because the amount of muscle lost would be higher.

Now if JB puts a workout with it he can have his new Book "Brawny to Scrawny".

I read that he's got a book coming out soon (what is "soon" anyway?) called something like "Rev It Up." About using nutrition and exercise to boost your metabolism. Can't wait.

It's going to be called The Metabolism Advantage, and I am so looking forward to it; it's coming out in September.

Sounds good. But "Rev It Up" sounds better. Probably not as clear to potential buyers...

Good point, Frank. This is just my opinion now, although as was your case it may change with time, more research, and experimentation.
Good luck to whoever does the diet.

I did listen. Next time I'll say "I heard, on the fitcast" instead of "read it."
I've heard every one, man! Some twice.

I may be joining you on this Galya, but I still have some qquestions. Like I suspect JB wants people on the diet to lift heavy like doing The Waterbury Method or something similar. Also could I stick with Waterbury summer project which has 3 HIIT sessions a week?

I would do two HIIT sessions and two weight sessions at higher intesity, see how you adapt and add more if you need to.

I've started a training log with my adventures on this diet. I'm taking the first couple of days off from working out to see how I deal with this diet then I'm debating on which workout to do. I may just do the Original TT - Craig says it's still his best. Just cut back the sets a bit so the workouts are shorter/more intense. 3 days per week and add a couple HIIT sessions per week. Will see. Berardi mentions training almost every day in his meal examples.
I would suspect as Galya says, short, intense workouts. That's my plan, anyway. She's the expert though, so I'm doing what she says.
