Default The right diet/workout?

I've read several posts but I am still having trouble finding an answer to my question. If possible, could someone please let me know what a good mass gaining diet might be (i.e. amount of carbs, fiber, protein, etc.) and a good workout combo for said diet.

I currently weigh about 140 lbs, 5'8'' tall, and work out about 5 days a week. My idea for a new diet involves about 100 grams of protein, 20 grams of fiber, and 150 grams of carbs daily. Am I on the right track? I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks.

Try doing a search on the Nutrition forum - there are a zillion threads out there about bulking diets. Search anything by Anubus or Gymrat - they had some good bulking diets going for a while.

head over to http://turbulencetraining.com and pick up one of craigs mass workouts. He will offer advice through email and very quick and quality responses. Has nutritional advice with the programs and outlines micronutrient breakdowns, calorie requirments and even gives you lists of food choices you can have for each meal that fit the critera.

Best programs and nutritional advice you'll find anywhere.

What are your stats? Age, weight, body fat, experience, history, etc.

Default Stats...

Thanks to you all for the useful info.

I'm 24 years old; weigh about 140; not certain about body fat but I would assume its around 5%; I've been steadily weight-lifting for the past 5 years but it seems to have developed into a maintenance program instead of a gaining one.

140 and 5%? How tall?

Drive to the bookstore and buy Scrawny to Brawny. Check out that forum on this site, too. Tons of great successes in there. Highly recommended.

I second the Scrawny to Brawny. Not the best layed out in regards to the workouts...but excellent information. Will set you on the right track to bulking for sure. IMHO
