Default When to change caloric intake

Hey - this is probably pretty basic for most of you but I'm not sure at what point I should tweak my caloric intake. As I lose weight/fat and gain muscle, do I increase or decrease the amount I'm eating? By how much?

I've noticed lately that I feel more hungry but I am deathly afraid of doing anything different lest I screw up what progress I've made. My primary goal is fat loss. Anyone? Thanks in advance!

You should be doing a bi-weekly review of progress and making adjustments then.

You could engage the energy flux and up you calories by 250 each fornight and increase activity.

You don't want to drop too long or you risk slowing down your metabolism.

hard to give recommendations without seeing your diet. Post a sample day up and give us a look. Simply moving your carbs to other times of the day might make a major difference.

Ah, thanks for the quick reply, Josh. I went and looked at the food logs and realized that I am hitting carbs a lot heavier later in the day. (This is what I get for quitting using fitday awhile back thinking I knew how to gauge it by eye) I'll move things around and see if that helps.

I wasn't clear on what you were suggesting by 250 calorie increase? Did you mean each night? For a night? Or each fortnight?

Thanks!
