Many of my soccer athletes come to practice directly from their JHS lacrosse, baseball, or tennis practice. It is entirely possible that some of the boys have not had anything to eat since lunch.

Lunch could have been anytime between 11:30 and 1:00.
I assume the best choice would be a liquid. Should I have them drink a sports drink immediately after their initial activity? Should they add a half scoop of protein powder to it?
Any good tasting recipes you want to share?
